Book Review: Restless in Carolina by Tamara Leigh

  Bridget is a young widow whose relatives are pushing to finally move on with her life.  She also needs to come to terms with her anger at God and rejection of Him for letting her husband die.  Now, this sounds like heavy stuff, but Tamara Leigh lightens it all up with humorous situations involving Bridget's 5-year-old twin niece and nephew and comical scenes when she tries to pull off an "dressed for success" image that is so not her. Two men vie for her affections, and Bridget has to decide whether either or both of them are truly interested in her or just the family property which she wants to be sold to a "green" developer.  There's some fun twists and turns, but the book is basically rather predictable.

Though I can only give this book about 3 1/2 stars out of 5, I will say that I like this writer's style and plan on reading more books by her.  Perhaps it would have helped if I had read the first two books in this series. I especially like the humor and the way the author depicts Christians who are experiencing spiritual conflicts in life.
